Trafalgar Square


Trafalgar Square is home to some of London’s significant cultural buildings, packed with heritage.


Visit the square to see the famous lions and iconic fountains added in 1845. Nelson's Column is a highlight of Trafalgar Square, with plenty of statues and busts to admire.


Take a moment to appreciate the stunning architecture of the buildings surrounding the square. Visit the National Gallery to see a collection of over 2,300 paintings dating from the mid-13th century to 1900, including masterpieces by Van Gogh, Botticelli, da Vinci and Turner.


The square also hosts many events, from Chinese New Year and Pride in London to Christmas carol singing.
